This sculpture of Joyce’s grandson with his favorite teddy bear was one of the few pieces of art that was saved from the Big Thompson flood in 2013. It had been packed in Joyce’s car in preparation for the evacuation, but the flood came on too fast. Fortunately, this was recovered and additional castings were made.
